On July 6th, 2008, an airstrike by the United States on a wedding party in the Haska Meyna district in eastern Afghanistan killed 47 Afghan citizens.

The incident was one of the worst massacres during the 20-year occupation of the country by American forces. Afghans are still haunted by the memory of that attacks.

They demand justice for the crimes perpetrated by US forces during the occupation years.
